​From Midhurst

​From the centre of the town follow the A 272 towards Petworth for approx. 4.5 miles, passing ​through two short sections of dual carriageway. At the third dual carriageway turn left onto a single tract lane following signs for Pitshill & Upperton. Continue up the hill taking the first turning on the left. In approx. 100 meters there is a small farm track on the left hand side leading to Garden Cottage.

From Petworth

​From the centre of town follow the A272 towards Midhurst for approx. 1.5 miles, passing through Tillington. At the first section of dual carriageway turn right onto a single track lane following signs for Pitshill & Uppeton. Take care as this is an awkward junction. Continue up the hill taking the first turning on the left. In approx. 100 meters there is a small farm track on the left hand side leading the Garden Cottage.
